Q:

Animals seized by the county are kept on property owned by the county near the Woodman State Jail. What kind of shade is provided for animals?

A:

Coryell County Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy Joe Blakley said there are trees on the upper end of the property where many of the horses tend to stay. There is also a three-sided shed with stalls that provide shade. Fresh water is provided on a continuous basis.
