Neither team wins in a scrimmage, but Jonesboro definitely outscored Gustine in the first scrimmage of the season Friday at home.
The Eagles won the coin flip and things kept going their way after the first snap. Senior Gerritt Buster took the first hand off for an explosive 55-yard gain. Junior Spencer Lord finished off the quick two-play scoring drive with a powerful run from five yards out.
