June 26, 1927 – August 29, 2012

Eva Jo Teat, 85, of Bellmead, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 29, at her home.

Services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 1, at Bellmead Funeral Home Chapel in Waco, with the Rev. Terry Wilkerson officiating. Burial was at Turnersville Cemetery near Gatesville, Texas.

Eva was born June 26, 1927, in Happy, Texas, to Jeff and Oma Lee (Thornton) Warren.

Survivors include her husband, William Teat; daughter, Jo Ann Lujan and husband, Alfred; stepchildren, Floyd Teat and wife, Mary, of China Spring, Ann Currie, of Riesel and Kathy Whitlow and husband, Dave, of Lorena; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. Eva was so proud of her five generations.

Pallbearers were Nelson Cox, Brady Teat, Matthew Mooney, Justin Carothers, David Whitlow and Cliff Barnard.
