Has the city ever thought of having a city-wide garage sale?
A:
In past years, the Gatesville Chamber of Commerce coordinated a garage sale in the parking lot of the Cotton Belt Depot, with people being able to rent booth spots as well as trailer spots. Last year, the chamber tried the “City Wide” style sale, where they had a listing for sale locations around town, as well as offering spots at the Depot. However, faced with dropping participation, the chamber directors made the decision to discontinue the sales.
