Riley “Ronnie” Fulcher, 64, of Crane, died Saturday, Sept. 1, 2012 at his home.

Rosary was held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2012 at the Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home Chapel in Crane.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2012 at the funeral home.

Mr. Fulcher was born Feb. 4, 1948 in San Saba County. He was an Army veteran, and had served in Vietnam. He was a longtime resident of Crane. He was retired from the oilfield.

Survivors include his wife, Ruby Fulcher of Crane; three sons, Jason Blackmon of Florida, and Bobby Myers and Billy Johnson, both of Crane; five daughters, Sheila Fulcher of Tyler, Mellisa Vega of Florida, Teresa Figueroa of Crane, Twila Smedley of Abilene and Cynthia Rodriguez of Crane; his mother, Joyce Lapier of Gatesville; three brothers, Charles Fulcher of Gatesville, Harold Turner and Sonny Fulcher both of Crane; four sisters, Rita Fulcher of Oregon, Sharon Fulcher of Corpus Christi, Teresa Star of Graford and Janice Fulcher of Montana; 19 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.

No obituary will be accepted unless it is provided by a licensed funeral home. Information on obituaries are published free of charge in The Gatesville Messenger.
