Sam Wiggins of Oglesby died Saturday, Oct. 6, 2012. He was 43.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Cole Funeral Home Chapel in McGregor with the Rev. Walter Davidson officiating. Burial followed at Post Oak Cemetery.

Mr. Wiggins was born Feb. 10, 1969 in Gatesville to Hollis Garner and Delores Del McMullen Wiggins. He was a 1987 graduate of Oglesby High School and continued his education at Southwestern State University in San Marcos where he earned a degree in respiratory therapy.

Mr. Wiggins spent most of his life in Houston where he was employed in the real estate profession.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Survivors include his mother, Delores Wiggins of Oglesby; daughters, Holli Wiggins of College Station, Cora Wiggins of Houston and Sammi Wiggins of Santa Fe; and brothers, Mark Wiggins of San Antonio, Ricky Wiggins of Eddy and Brad Wiggins of Waco.

No obituary will be accepted unless it is provided by a licensed funeral home. Information on obituaries are published free of charge in The Gatesville Messenger.
