The hotly-contested local option alcohol election became even more heated this week when Gatesville Families First (GFF) responded to a press release from the Gatesville Committee for Economic Growth (GCEG).

Two issues are on the ballot—one on whether to allow alcoholic beverages to be sold in restaurants and the other to allow beer and wine to be sold for off-premise consumption.
