Gatesville head volleyball coach Rickey Phillips wanted his team to play with fire.
After struggling to finish games late in the season, Gatesville rekindled its early-season dominance Tuesday to sweep Alvarado in the bi-district round of the playoffs, 25-17, 25-12, 25-7.
