of McGregor died Monday, Oct. 29, 2012. She was 94.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Cole Funeral Home Chapel in McGregor with Jon Mark Smith and Pat Richardson officiating.
Burial followed at Post Oak Cemetery.
Mrs. Roedler was born Nov. 20, 1917 in Throckmorton, the daughter of the late Jesse Jefferson and Mayme Love Ashby Jackson. The family moved to Oglesby, where she was salutatorian of her 1936 graduating class. She married James Carl Roedler Sr. in Gatesville on Oct. 5, 1940. They moved to McGregor in the late 1940s.
She was a salesperson at a dress shop in McGregor for 12 years and was active in the Sixth and Adams Church of Christ. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi, McGregor Magic Fingers Quilting Club and was a Blue Bird leader.
She was preceded in death by her husband; a son, James Carl Roedler; a grandson; and two brothers.
Survivors include daughters, Alma Dutschmann of Oglesby and Jo Marie Snider of McGregor; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
For those desiring, the family has suggested memorial contributions to Post Oak Cemetery Association, Six and Adams Church of Christ or the McGregor EMS.
