One thing Care Center director Deral McWhorter has learned about the annual Food for Families drive is to “never say never.”
On Friday, Gatesville and the surrounding area once again blew the top off their own record giving with 311,934 pounds worth of food—and there’s probably more to come before the final total is reported on Dec. 6.
