Treva Horton Parrish, of Evant, died November 17, 2012, in Evant. She was 72.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, November 20, 2012, at the Stacy-Wilkins Chapel in Goldthwaite with Boyce Edwards and David Schmidt officiating. Interment was in Murphree Cemetery in Evant.
She was born July 14, 1940, in Evant to Melvin Willie Horton and Oleta Faye Shave Horton. She was a teller at the First National Bank of Evant and a member of the Evant Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her daughters, Donna Bonnet and husband, Ray, of Stephenville, Ronda Monson, and husband, Steve, of Stephenville, and Cindy Standard and husband, Daron, of Angleton; sister, Chyrl Slone, of Evant; brother, Terry Horton, of Purmela; grandchildren, Nikki Light and Royce, Micah Schmidt and David, Skylar Standard and Katie, Trent Bonnet, Cullen Standard and Chandy Standard; two great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Trent Bonnet, Cullen Standard, James Slone Jr., Lance Wenmush, Skylar Standard, Royce Light and Justin Slone.
Memorials may be made in Treva’s name to Murphree Cemetery Association.
