Barbara Elsina Rogers Suagee, 79, of Gatesville, died Thursday, Nov. 15, 2012.

There will be no services at this time.

She was born May 26, 1933 in Kansas City, MO, to the late Charles and Florence Davis Robinson. She was raised in Washington. She married Eldred LeRoy Rogers on Oct. 31, 1949.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Eldred “Hodge” Rogers on March 24, 1982; and son, Charles “Chuck” Rogers on Sept. 27, 2012.

Survivors include her daughters, Laura Carr of May, Carolynn Sue Tomme of Gatesville and Joanne Jones of Gatesville; son, Gary Rogers of Brownwood; sister, Joanne Sorensen of Gatesville; 17 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.

No obituary will be accepted unless it is provided by a licensed funeral home. Information on obituaries are published free of charge in The Gatesville Messenger.
