Betty Jean Davis, age 81, of Gatesville, passed away Sunday, December 16, 2012, at a local hospital.

Memorial services are scheduled for 3 p.m. today (Saturday), December 22, 2012, at Scott’s Funeral Home Chapel.

Betty was born July 8, 1931, in Garwood, NJ. She was the daughter of the late Albert Williamson and Catherine Nuernberger Williamson. She was preceded in death by husband, Gerald Davis; three sisters; and one brother.

Survivors include life companion, Earl Arnold; brother, Russell Williamson of New Jersey; daughter, Gail Hale and husband, Danny, of Gatesville; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

No obituary will be accepted unless it is provided by a licensed funeral home. Information on obituaries are published free of charge in The Gatesville Messenger.
