December 28, 1941 – December 27, 2012

Dennis E. Reid, 70, of Mound, passed away Thursday, Dec. 27, 2012.

A private family memorial service was planned.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Janice Robertson; and brothers, Wallace Reid, Howard Reid and Darrell Reid.

He is survived by his sons, Clint Reid, of Mound and Justin Reid, of Cottonwood, AZ; sisters, Elizabeth Hunter, of Washington, and Violet Haverkate, Kathy Shine and Brenda Reid, all of Oregon; brothers, Bruce Reid, of California and Randy Reid, of Oregon; and six grandchildren.

No obituary will be accepted unless it is provided by a licensed funeral home. Information on obituaries are published free of charge in The Gatesville Messenger. All obituaries follow a standard format and any request for deviation from this format will require payment for the obituary. The Messenger does not list survivors beyond the immediate family--spouse, children, parents, brothers and sisters. Inclusion of any other survivors will require payment for the obituary.
