Doris “Nanny” Autrey, of Belton, died Jan. 8, 2013, in Belton. She was 88.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 11, 2013, at the Dossman Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed at the Restland Cemetery in Gatesville.

Mrs. Autrey was born June 27, 1924, in Gatesville, the daughter of John Alexander and

Martha Elizabeth (Manning) White. She married Claudis Autrey, March 14, 1942, in Coryell County. She was a life-time resident of Central Texas. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 2006.

Survivors include three sons, Charles Dean Autrey of Belton, Billy Lee Autrey of Moffat and David Gene Autrey of Morgan’s Point Resort; two brothers, Doyle White of Belton and Barney White of Temple; 10 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Scott and White Hospice, 2401 South 31st Street Temple, TX 76508.
