Calvin E. Eaton, 46, of Gatesville, died Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013, at a local hospital.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013, at Heartfield Funeral Home in Belton. Interment followed in Holland Cemetery in Holland with Bro. Kurt Fuessel officiating.

Mr. Eaton was born on Aug. 4, 1966, in Temple to Willie Calvin and Barbara Jean (Allison) Eaton. He married Sheri Renee Hennig on Dec. 5, 1998, in Temple. He worked for Wilson Art from 1994-2008 and for Fed Ex as a freight driver since 2008. He was preceded in death by his father.

Survivors include his wife of Gatesville; three sons, C.J. Woodruff of Austin, Tyler Eaton and Hunter Eaton both of Gatesville; a daughter, Ryleigh Eaton of Gatesville; his mother, Barbara Jean Eaton of Temple; three brothers, Robbie Eaton of Brownwood, and Randy Eaton and Larry Eaton both of Temple; four sisters, Wanda Sue Martin and Cathy Griffin both of Brownwood, Ida Schofield of Temple and Scheri Hobert of Oregon; and two grandchildren.

No obituary will be accepted unless it is provided by a licensed funeral home. Information on obituaries are published free of charge in The Gatesville Messenger.
