Even a fire hydrant couldn’t have doused out Lindy Burks’ flames on Friday.
After Evant’s junior guard outscored Cranfills Gap by herself in the first half with 19 points to 15, Burks rode her hot streak to drop a career-high 33 points in a 64-44 road win for the top-ranked Lady Elks.
