A few months ago, the city seal coated a long portion of Bridge Street, and it wasn’t long before it started pulling loose. Shouldn’t it last longer than that?
A:
Gatesville City Manager Roger Mumby said the seal coat should have lasted much longer. A new, more expensive oil was used on Bridge Street and the city is in the process of trying to recoup some of the money spent on that product.
