Barbara Pearce-Huvendhal, 72, of Waco, passed away January 22, 2013, at Hillcrest Hospital.

Funeral services were held Saturday, January 26, 2013, at 1 p.m. at Gatesville Funeral Home.

Barbara was born September 7, 1940, in Dallas, TX. Her parents where the late Gilbert and May Erickson. She was married to Wayne Pearce, the first love of her life, till his passing in 2003. They had their only son Brad, which was her pride and joy. Barbara was introduced to John Huvendhal by a close friend which was a blessing, they called it love at first sight. They were married June 30, 2008, and spent this time happily in love and enjoying one another. Barbara enjoyed country music, dancing and crocheting. Her favorite pastime was spent with her grandsons and being outside enjoying her coffee.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wayne Pearce; and sister Pat Jeffers.

She is survived by her husband, John Huvendhal; son, Brad Pearce and wife, Tami; grandsons, Braden and Corbin Pearce; and stepdaughter, Jill Huvendhal and her son, Jacob.
