Just a few hours before her scheduled execution, Kimberly McCarthy, who has been on Mountain View’s death row since 1998, received a reprieve from a district judge in Dallas.
State District Judge Larry Mitchell postponed McCarthy’s execution until April 3 to give her attorneys time to pursue another appeal.
