What a way to lock up a playoff spot. Jonesboro’s Tommy Isom drained four shots behind the 3 point arc Friday to lift the Eagles to a thrilling 58-54 overtime victory at Cranfills Gap that clinched third place in District 28-1A.
After cooling off from an early hot streak from deep, the Eagles overcame a five-point deficit in the final 3:35 of regulation and made seven of their eight free throws in overtime to seal the victory.
