Lawsuit against Gatesville ISD, coach dismissed by U.S. District Court

A lawsuit filed last year against the Gatesville Independent School District and coach Jade Dickens was dismissed last week “without prejudice” by the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas Waco Division.
GISD Superintendent Stewart Speer said the plaintiff had 14 days to resubmit the case. It could also be appealed to the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals, he observed.
