Gatesville Independent School District is in the preliminary phases of providing its students the opportunity to receive an electrocardiograph screening.

School administrators plan to transport students free of charge on May 11 to Scott & White Gatesville Clinic for an EKG screening, but Gatesville athletic director and head football coach Kyle Cooper said nothing is finalized.
