As if playing three consecutive days wasn’t enough, the Hornets’ last two games of their spring break series went into extra innings.
After pulling out a 6-5 win in the 10th Wednesday at Georgetown East View, Gatesville (7-9-2) tied up the game late Thursday at Robinson—ranked No. 2 in the Texas High School Baseball Coaches Association poll—before taking a 4-3 loss in the bottom of the eighth.
