Members of the Coryell County 4-H program recently hosted an adventure day during Gatesville Public Library’s story time on Wednesday, July 24.

Within the adventure day, there were five stations conducted at 10-minute rotations where local youth were able to learn everything they need to know about 4-H.

Station one was a photography scavenger hunt which was put together by Braidy Lusk and Eve Fulton. The second station involved information about rabbits and was hosted by Cooper Dickie. The third area was a food challenge and “My Plate” demonstration, which was conducted by Anna McPherson and Kylie Caraway. Station four was about wildlife scat and was hosted by Colt Brookshire and Thomas Belt. Lastly, station five was a craft table put together by Hunter Beaty and Charles Belt.

Coryell County AgriLife Extension Agent Becky Coward concluded the adventure day with a question-and-answer session for the community where she provided information regarding 4-H.
