Highway 84 construction, lane closures continue throughout week of Aug. 26

Construction crews will continue their mill and inlay work on U.S. Highway 84 from State Highway 36 to Lutterloh Avenue throughout the week of Aug. 26, according to the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT).

The project will cause various lane closures throughout the work zone.

A TxDOT spokesperson said the operations on Highway 84 are scheduled to continue through Friday of this week, weather permitting.

The construction work will remain active daily from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. until 7 a.m.

The mill and inlay work started on Aug. 18, per a previous TxDOT press release. Message boards are in place to remind drivers of the project.
