The Levita Volunteer Fire Department will host a BBQ fundraiser and gun raffle on Friday, Nov. 1 and Saturday, Nov. 2. The event will take place at 7 a.m. on both days until everything is sold out and will be held at Ideal Self Storage, located at 1611 East Main Street.
The gun raffle will have 100 tickets available for purchase at $20 a ticket or three tickets for $50 for a Henry Brass Lever Action .30-30. The drawing will be held on Saturday. All participants in the raffle must be at least 18 years of age or older and must pass a background check.
There also will be a raffle for a two-person hog hunt, which is sponsored by Banard Beef Cattle Company. Tickets will be sold at $10 each or five tickets for $40.
