Local Kyle Botkin is a retired civil architectural and welding inspector at Walker Partners as well as a Vietnam veteran. “I enjoyed the company that I worked for and the people I worked with,” he said. “I enjoyed completing projects, one of many was the Baylor Stadium in Waco.” He was born and raised in Gatesville and enjoys the people and the small-town atmosphere.
Kyle expressed that his life advice would be to always remain honest and to be a good family man. “I love my children and grandchildren; honesty is required for success!”
Kyle reads The Gatesville Messenger and says that he is fond of reading about the local students, current political postings, and sports news.
