Clover Kid event set for July 26

With so many opportunities and projects to choose from, 4-H can be a little confusing, especially for new families with young potential members.

4-H projects range from foods and nutrition to theatre and performing arts, consumer education, and even dog care and training.

To help expose the diversity of 4-H project offerings, the Coryell County 4-H Ambassador Team is hosting an afternoon day camp for kindergarten through third grade. The event will take place on July 26, and will begin at 2 p.m. at the Hay Valley Baptist Church Fellowship Hall.

Parents are encouraged to drop off their students and then return at 5 p.m. for a showcase about what their youth have learned about 4-H.

Remember, 4-H is not just cows, plows, and sows, it is so much more. The learning of leadership, citizenship, and life skills are what makes 4-H so unique among extracurricular activities.
