The Exchange Club of
Gatesville hosted a Day of
the Child event April 15 at
Freedom Park.
The event is held across
the country by Exchange
Clubs to promote child
abuse prevention awareness
in their local communities.
Locally, Exchange Club
members joined forces with
Gatesville Police Department,
Gatesville Volunteer
Fire Department, emergency
responders and Fort Hood
as well as various organizations
to create a safe, fun
event for children while
spreading public education
to caregivers.
