Gatesville resident, Dixie Neel, recently celebrated her 93rd birthday. Neel, who is known as an avid reader, visits the Gatesville Public Library every week and collects two bags of books, which she reads and then returns to the library the following week for two new bags. Neel could be considered one of the library’s best customers or patrons. At 93, the love of reading continues to be a joy in her life.
