Mr. Jakson Tippit was honored on his birthday on Sept. 25. Given by his parents, Cody and Amber Tippit, there was pizza and cake. Those attending were Pam Hopson, Margaret Hopson and grand-daughter, Dani Jo Wood, Melissa Wells, and Jessica and Raizylnn Hartmann.
Jakson received a Texas 1A Fans helmet sticker at Friday night’s game against Coolidge, where Oglesby won 54-8. The sticker is presented to a player who shows several of the following characteristics on the field: Leadership, sportsmanship, effort, attitude, and good play on defense and/or offense.
Robert and Carolyn Blakley celebrated their anniversary on Monday, Oct. 7.
Jennifer Eberlein spent the weekend with the twins, Maeve and Nora Eberlein, in McKinney. Jennifer also saw their parents, Alexandra and Andrew.
On Saturday afternoon, Annalee Terrell came to visit with her grandson, Hank.
Elli, Jenson, and Molli Kinnear attended the 11th birthday party for Jake Watts on Friday, Sept. 27, at Ranchers Steakhouse.
Elli, Jenson, Molli, and Jenson Kinnear traveled to Salado to celebrate the birthday of Payton and Parker Zimmerman on Saturday, Sept. 28.
