JHS Lady Eagles softball receives various awards

The Jonesboro Lady Eagles softball team recently received awards for the Class 1A & 2A Girl’s Softball All-State team.

Jonesboro junior catcher Emily Turner has been honored as the Class A player of the year. She batted .695 with 21 doubles, 12 triples, five homers, and 55 RBIs for the 23-7 Lady Eagles who won the state title.
