Keep Gatesville Beautiful has announced Deanna Brookfield at 410 South 6th Street as the Yard of the Month for February. Brookfield moved into her home a little over a year ago and made it look attractive by painting, putting up shutters and a fence, and doing her own landscaping. She says she is a picker and found her Valentine’s decorations that way. Her landscape includes Texas Superstar Purple Vitex, monkey grass, boxwood bushes, privet hedge, irises, and a rose bush.
