The Gatesville Public Library’s Live It Up at the Library class recently made a visit to the Care Center this past week to help with packing food boxes.
The group of eight students that consisted of 11-to-17-year-olds was able to pack over 24 boxes within the time they were at the Care Center.
Future events for local youth in the month of June include a rolling video game truck event on Tuesday, June 25, for the T-N-T group. The T-N-T group is for ages 11 to 13. There will also be a teen night held for all children on Thursday, June 27, at 6 p.m., at the Gatesville Public Library.
The Gatesville Public Library is located at 111 North 8th Street.
