Marigrace Wheat Dyer, age 22, of Mackinac Island, Michigan, passed from death into life on June 10, 2024.  She is now in the arms of Jesus.

Born July 14, 2001, Marigrace spent her early years in California, later moving to Texas with her family and growing up in the tiny community of Pearl.  Her home away from home was the family ranch in Junction, Texas, where she became a beloved member of the community.  After high school, Marigrace attended World View Academy at the Abbey in Colorado, and later moved to Michigan, where she worked as a dray driver for the Mackinac Island Service Company.  With her team of big draft horses, Marigrace delivered goods of all kinds from the docks to every corner of the island.  On Mackinac Island, Marigrace found her place.

Marigrace was an intrepid young woman, known for her infectious smile, warm presence, and thirst for adventure.  All who knew her loved her, and she will be missed terribly.

Marigrace is survived by her parents, Jody and Martina Dyer, of Kerrville, Texas; her brother, Joel Dyer, wife, Mary, and their son, Grady, of Menifee, California; sister, Reagan Dyer, of Jackson, Wyoming; and grandmother, Marcie Stimmel, of Junction.  Marigrace is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends too numerous to count.

A memorial service for Marigrace was held June 20, 2024, at the First Presbyterian Church in Junction.  A memorial service on Mackinac Island will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Marigrace’s memory to: World View at the Abbey - website: worldviewbridgeyear.com – 2951 E.
