OJHS splits tourney games
The Oglesby Junior High Tigers beat Cransfills Gap Lions, 34-20.
Holdyn Goff led all scorers with 22 points, three steals and six rebounds. Jaxon Markum had six points, three rebounds and one steal. Mason Marquez had three points and four rebounds. Kayson Campbell had two points and three rebounds. Javon Howard made one free throw and had two rebounds.
Game 2
The Oglesby Junior High Tigers dropped a close game to the Abbott Panthers, 23-19, in their final game of the basketball season.
Holdyn Goff led In scoring with 16 points, and added two steals, and seven rebounds. Jaxon Markum had two points and three rebounds. Abram Shaw had one free throw, one steal and two rebounds. Kayson Campbell had six rebounds. Blaze Fisher grabbed three rebounds.
The Tigers finished with a 4-8 record.
Former Oglesby coach Chris Villareal’s team the Mount Calm Panthers won, the tournament and the district championship.
