This past week, two staff members of Gatesville Elementary School received end of the year awards for their devotion to Gatesville Independent School District.
Employee of the year was given to Paraprofessional Destiny Price. Gatesville Elementary highlighted Price in an online post, which said, “We are blessed to have Ms. Price on our Elementary campus. Ms. Price shows up every day with a positive attitude and a smile on her face.”
Teacher of the year was awarded to educator Delilah Martin. An online post regarding Martin’s achievement was posted by Gatesville Elementary, which said, “We are blessed to have Mrs. Martin on our Elementary campus; she pours her heart into teaching and is always sure to put a smile on your face. Her undeniable love for her students shines through.”
The awards were given to both employees during school hours, along with flowers and a gift.
