On Saturday, April 1 Don’t Mess with Texas began their annual trash-off for the entire month of April. Every year families, social clubs, Adopt-a-Highway groups, neighborhoods, and Keep Texas Beautiful come together all over the state to join forces by picking up litter to beautify local communities.
Keep Gatesville Beautiful has been highlighting the volunteer work of the community all month long and will continue to do so until Monday, May 1, when the annual trash-off ends. Volunteers Marie Dominguez, Barbara Barrow, Elena Spatzier, and Kim Mansell recently picked up litter along West Leon and South Rd.
