Businesses and governmental offices across Coryell County will join the rest of the nation on Thursday, July 4, in celebration of Independence Day.
Closures for the surrounding area include
GOVERNMENT
The City of Gatesville and the City of Evant will be closed on Thursday. The City of Oglesby will be closed on Thursday, July 4, and on Friday, July 5. The Coryell County Courthouse and the Farm Service Agency will be closed on Thursday.
FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS
Extraco Bank, Cadence Bank, Educator’s Credit Union, and the First National Bank of Gatesville, Evant, and Oglesby will be closed on Thursday.
POST OFFICES
All local post offices will be closed on Thursday.
LIBRARY
The Gatesville Public Library will be closed on Thursday.
SENIOR CENTER
The Gatesville Senior and Multi-Service Center will be closed on Thursday, July 4, and will close at noon on Friday, July 5.
MUSEUM
The Coryell County Museum and Historical Center will be closed on Thursday.
NEWSPAPER
The Gatesville Messenger will be closed on Thursday, July 4, and on Friday, July 5. The office will reopen on Monday, July 8.
