Evant FFA recently competed at Tarleton State CDE contest

The Evant Future Farmers of America Range team competed at Tarleton State University State Career Development Event contest recently and finished within the top 30 of the state of Texas.

The team included Tanner Manville, Luvwika Rodriguez, Isabel Gandy, and Jacob Turner.

This contest builds on what was learned in agricultural classes and is to encourage members to put their knowledge into practice. The events are designed to help a member prepare for a career in agriculture by testing and challenging the student’s technical, leadership, interpersonal, and teamwork skills as well as their knowledge of the subject matter.
