The Gatesville High School cheer program will hold a bake sale on Saturday, June 22, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Salty Senorita in hopes to raise funds for their newest addition to the cheer team, the BUZZ uniform.
The new BUZZ uniform will be a custom, one-of-a-kind costume to match the logo of the school.
The cheer program’s fundraising goal is $15,000, and they have made it to the point where they only need $3,000 left to purchase the new mascot costume.
The costume is purchased through tiered sponsorship, which includes different options for those wanting to donate to the program.
The tiered sponsorship options are:
Platinum Sponsor, $2,500
Gold Sponsor, $1,000
Silver Sponsor, $500
Bronze Sponsor, $250
The deadline to sponsor will be on Sunday, June 30. All sponsorship donations are tax-deductible and are payable to Gatesville ISD for “Buzz the Hornet Sponsorship.”
