Jones awarded with Hornet Power Up

Gatesville Intermediate School is off to a positive start to the school year with awarding their first Hornet Power Up certificate to sixth grader Kamaree Jones.

A Hornet Power Up is a positive office referral which students have an opportunity to earn from their teacher.

Jones was referred by his tech teacher within the first week of school. His teacher expressed, “Kamaree was so helpful in my class the first two days of school. He stepped right up and gave great organizational tips and very respectful. I can tell he is a born leader, and peers look up to him. Thank you for your positive behavior.”
