Lady Hornet softball team honored with all-district awards

Gatesville High School’s Lady Hornet softball team were honored with all-district awards for their hard work while finishing 19-17 for the season.

The awards include:

First Team All-District

Madison Hester, first team pitcher.

Kinlee Gardner, first team infield.

Raylee Glover, first team catcher.

Meghan Mehaffey, first team utility.

Second Team All-District

Madison Birnel, second team outfield.

Brilee Ford, second team outfield.

Honorable Mention

Grace Carothers, honorable mention outfield.

Journey Garrett, honorable mention utility.

Kallie Featherston, honorable mention infield.
