The Oglesby High School baseball team recently won various all-district awards for their accomplishments throughout the season.
The awards include Hunter Walter, District MVP; Jaxon Markum, Newcomer of the Year; Tucker Melton, first team pitcher; Jakson Tippit, first team catcher; Hunter Ewing, first team infield; Johnny Gomez, first team outfield; Dylan Hooker, first team outfield; Ian Phillip, second team infield; Jack Hendricks, second team outfield; Abram Shaw, second team infield; and Alex Castillo, second team outfield.
Being honored with an all-district award shows an athlete’s capability to work hard on the field and in the classroom.
