Oglesby High School has recently announced Mattingley Dixon as the Valedictorian and Charolette Ritchie as the Salutatorian for the class of 2024.
Dixon is a member of the BETA Club, the Tiger Cub Club, the student advisory, and Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA). She is also involved in volleyball, basketball, golf, and track. Her proudest moment is when she made school history in volleyball and basketball. After graduation, she will attend McLennan Community College in Waco where she will play golf.
Ritchie is a member of the BETA Club as well as being involved in basketball, volleyball, cross country, and golf. Her favorite memory was when she was running home in front of her coach during cross country practice. She could not take the heat anymore, so she ran home until she reached the footsteps of her front porch. After graduation, she plans to attend Tarleton State University in Stephenville where she will major in psychology.
