Two file for re-election to Council

Two Gatesville City Council members have signed up for re-election to their current posts – Billy Sinyard, who represents Ward 2, Place 4, and John Westbrook, who represents Ward 2, Place 6.

They join candidates Gary Chumley, Gatesville mayor, and incumbent Barbara Burrow, who will face challenger Aaron Smith for the Ward 1, Place 2 post.

Election day will be Tuesday, Nov. 8, with early voting set to begin in October.
