Central Texas Roots will hold its monthly meeting on Saturday, August 12 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. The meeting will be held at Junction on Route 36 located at 1216 TX-36 N. in Gatesville. There will be plant swaps, seed swaps, light refreshments, and a door prize.
The meeting will consist of a two-minute tutorial regarding easy plant identification, a local educational speaker with hands on experience, a drawing for a door prize, and a preorder signup for t-shirts.
Central Texas Roots meets on the second Saturday of each month. Meetings have included educational speakers, Dutch treat meals, sharing of seeds and plant ideas, door prizes, refreshments, and conversation.
Each meeting is free for the public to attend, and everyone is encouraged to bring family and friends who have a passion for gardening.
