Granny’s Pound Cake

2 ¼ c. sugar 3 c. flour
1 ¼ c. butter 1 tsp. baking powder
5 eggs 1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. milk 1 tsp. lemon juice
Cream butter and sugar together. Then add eggs one at a time. Sift flour with baking powder and add alternately with milk. Add vanilla and lemon juice. Place in a floured and greased bundt pan and bake at 300 for one hour and ten minutes.
