The Pecan Grove Baptist Church was flooded by high Coryell Creek Water in the early morning of May 5.  Floors, pews, walls, piano, sound system, new chairs, tables, and a refrigerator were moved and ruined by 4 feet of moving water inside church.  The propane tank broke loose, floating.  Firemen took care of escaping propane fumes.  The metal tabernacle roof was all that was visible at one time.  This church and congregation will overcome this catastrophe.
